Classic human stupidity

Wildlife is amazing to look at. For a minute. It’s cool, but if you grew up or live out West or anywhere with open space, you’ve likely seen it before. So we’ll pass this off as a lesson learned in @yellowstonenps as a giant bull elk takes out a tourist hoping for a selfie with the majestic creature. What is it about Yellowstone that seems to create friction between tourist and animals? It most likely has to do with proximity: people can get so incredibly-close to wildlife in the park.

In case you need a reminder, read the “7 Steps to Surviving Yellowstone” on theinertia.com/mountain, which can mostly be summed up like this: “stay the f*** away from the wildlife.”
